Guerilla journalism outlet Project Veritas has released leaked photos from an inside source that have revealed the lack of COVID compliance inside of a Border Detention Facility in Donna, Texas. In the images, it can be seen that hundreds of migrants are sleeping on the floor with no social distancing, despite the global pandemic.

“There are eight pods with eight cells each in the facility. At any given moment there are an average of 3,000 people in custody here,” reported James O’Keefe, founder of Project Veritas, on Twitter. “Fifty [of the migrants] were COVID positive in these cells over the last few days.”

Despite the Biden administration’s current strict national mandates for masks and social distancing while also displaying tranquility over the border crisis, it seems that these conditions are still the same. “These photos were taken in the last few days,” O’Keefe said.

O’Keefe has also added that there have also been “multiple sexual assaults, normal assaults and daily medical emergencies” within the facility.
